 Marcella Royal Hotel is situated in an Umbertine style building dating from the nineteenth century. It began as a guesthouse in the 1960 s offering just a few rooms. In 1967 Rome Provincial Tourist Board gave Marcella Royal Hotel a prize for the improvement, cleanliness, and quality of the building. In the second half of the 1970s it became a hotel, offering the very best of comfort and service. Today Marcella Royal Hotel pays host to clients of the highest level. It is perhaps enough to note that in 1994 it was chosen for the staff of Bill Clinton, the President of the United States.
