A new five-star luxury grand hotel for an élite clientele in Venice, on the island of San Clemente, whose origins date back to 1131, the year the church of the same name was built. Over the course of the centuries this island, looking out onto the city itself, across to the Giudecca with the Lido in foreground, has jealously guarded its image as a warm and welcoming oasis of peace. Todays complex, enhanced by open-air courtyards, retains all the charm and atmosphere of the ancient monastery of the Camaldolesi order, built in the second half of the seventeenth century.
